National Qualifications System Briefing Day at Kahramanmaraş
As part of efforts to raise public awareness on national qualifications system (NQS), TUYEP Project launched NQS Briefing Days and organised the second of these events in Kahramanmaraş Wyndham Ramada Hotel on 29 November 2022.
The event’s opening speeches were delivered by Mr. Adem CEYLAN, President of the Vocational Qualifications Authority, and Mr. Hayrettin GÜNGÖR, Mayor of Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality.
First and foremost, general information on the National Qualification System and the Examination and Certification Processes was presented at the event. Then, information on the utilization of National Qualifications Systems across Europe was presented, as well as the advantages of a qualified workforce.
The second half of the event was a presentation on recent advancements in the European Lifelong Learning Approach. Project Key experts provided information on the European Qualifications Framework and the Turkish Qualifications Framework. Representatives from national and international organizations, and several academicians, attended the event in Kahramanmaraş.
