A major activity of the project was piloting the use of portfolios to gather evidence of candidates’ competence during the assessment of National Vocational Qualifications. The pilot included 3 occupations – Skin Care Expert, Motor Vehicle Sales Consultant and Project Manager, with 2 candidates from each area. On 20th and 21st February, workshops were held during which technical experts assessed the completed portfolios and interviewed the candidates.
