Improvement Capacity Fuctioning and Quality of Sectors Committee
Within the scope of TUYEP Project’s institutional capacity building component, a second training for VQA sector committee members was organised on 14–16 December 2022 at the Çam Thermal Resort & Spa Convention Center , Kızılcahamam, The three-day long training began with Head of VQA Occupational Standards Department Yaprak Akçay Zileli’s briefing about “Latest Developments on National Occupational Standards and National Qualifications” and continued with presentations from VQA Experts and project Key Experts Donald Paterson and Gerard Madill.
Training sessions covered various topics such as assessment methodologies for national qualifications, recognition of prior learning, taxonomies used to develop national occupational standards and national qualifications, and quality assurance of national occupational standards and national qualifications. The event was concluded with the remarks and recommendations from sector committee members.
